Freecreditreport gets facelift

Freecreditscore.com rebranded themselves as Freecreditscore.com and in the process ditched the old band mascots and searched across the country for the new band to sing those catchy songs. They held a American Idol style audition in New York, Chicago, and LA. 80 bands were filmed documentary style and online submissions were reviewed through the website. 12 semifinalists were chosen and then voted for online to narrow down to just 4 finalists. Each band got their own 30 second spot. The four finalist bands all get national media exposure during the MLB All-Star game, plus prize packages from Gibson® and Live Nation®. The three runners up will receive a $7,500 check to be divided among band members. The winning band will receive a $10,000 check, a full line of Gibson instruments including Pearl drum kit merchandise valued at $12,000, plus a studio session with music industry veterans and a chance to walk the red carpet at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards..not to mention three 30 second spots. Norma Jean and the cyberspace
For those of you that don’t know, Norma Jean is a Grammy nominated, hardcore band on Razor & Tie. Their fifth record “Meridional” hit stores last week. Mondial was the driving force behind their cyberspace takeover by armoring them with a fresh new myspace and website. The website gets fed updates via twitter, youtube, facebook, record label and the members themselves. Norma Jean Streaming New Record
Mondial Interactive has been busy with the band Norma Jean, designing the website and myspace design for their upcoming record “Meridional” on Razor & Tie records. Walmart Rollbacks
Mondial recently wrapped up the end tag graphics for Walmart’s “Rollbacks” campaign. Andrew, who unfortunately rarely watches television and has yet to see it air, styled and animated the dropping arrow which are making their way into many of the retail giant’s newest commercials. “Outliers” official selection Cannes Festival
Last December, Mondial welcomed the sacrifice of sleep and well-being to work round two of the 48 Hour Film Competition. After winning the RVA round last August, the team was invited to compete at the international level. The genre this time was “End of the World”, and unlike 48s of the past, we weren’t required to include a prop, character or line of dialogue. Per usual – the full Mondial crew was involved. Nick was editor, Chris & Andrew were graphics artists, and Keeley worked on print elements.
Mondial hosted not just the post-production, but also the shoot with one scene done about 20 feet left of the skateboard ramp. The gaffer actually dropped into the shot. You can’t even tell.

Pizzza!
Pizza Hut, a new client of The Martin Agency, needed a brand video and Mondial Creative Labs was pleased to help with its creation. After a week of diligent postproduction, takeout for every meal, and a nearly broken bike (evidence); the three-minute salute to America’s staple pizza place was completed. The collaboration between the talented Martin creative team and Mondial delivered a stellar product.
Hey Martin – Lets do this again sometime soon. We both seemed to enjoy ourselves, we get along really well, and lord knows you’re totally hot.

Groundhogs day
The always creative Black Iris decided to throw a happy hour in celebration of Groundhog Day. Mondial was responsible for the poster/evite design (seen here) which then was translated into a full painted backdrop (seen here) by Andrew Carnwath. The groundhog was honored, everyone got their mugs taken in front of the backdrop, and props were in full swing. The groundhog made an appearance and he sure enjoyed the free arcade games, food, drinks, and good company. Thanks Black Iris.

CarlsCountryClub.com goes live
The Country Music Culture site, CarlsCountryClub.com, is up and running. It was a fun design and build since the concept played off of the idea that this was a Country Club in the most rural sense. The back end utilizes wordpress and was customized to make ever aspect of the site editable since the client is a talented writer and updates daily. Make sure to try out the custom name generator, Countr-Fy Yourself, that changes your god given name into a country star stage name. For those of you over 18 make sure you find the hidden cookie…..what letter would you think a name would have to start with to get naughty. By the way this was the clients idea. We are all family men.

BF Goodrich: “Nation of Go” Tutorial

Hot of the presses! An interactive video tutorial featuring the BF Goodrich, “Nation of Go” app. This new app features GPS and geo tagging, which allow users to record their favorite drives in real time and mark special stops along the way. From production to post production Mondial brought the animation, compositing, and editing to this project. We were recently asked to be a part of the video content for BFGoodrich Tires new website documenting their latest event… The KDW Shotgun Challenge. Basically it involved strapping innocent civilians into HIGH horsepower race cars paired with professional drivers while filming their reactions.

Lonely Island + Mondial = ironic t-shirts
You may have been sitting around the water cooler when your buddy told you to look up a video called “Dick in a Box” a while back. This was one of the many fabulous creations from the SNL comedy group Lonely Island involving Akiva Schaffer, Jorma Taccone, and Andy Samberg. Best known for their best known for their musical parodies on Saturday Night Live the group also has a full length album called Incredibad. Mondial was called upon to create some fine apparel for the following skits/songs “We like Sportz”, “I’m on a Boat”, and “Ras Trent”. Check out the designs and the inspirational shorts
